Chemical lake weed treatments are scheduled for Wednesday June 14 as weather permits.
On the day of treatment, personnel from PLM Lake and Land Management Corp. will be using motorized watercraft to apply herbicides to control Eurasian Milfoil and other aquatic invasive/nuisance vegetation.
Residents within 100ft. of treated areas may have watering restrictions and will be notified via signs posted on the date of treatment indicating that treatment has taken place and the corresponding restrictions. In addition, the State of Michigan mandates a 24 hour swimming restriction from the date of treatment, mainly to prevent interference with the treatment operation.
