Gypsy Moth caterpillars have infested the southwestern corner of Winans Lake, affecting neighbors on Community Drive and Winans Drive.

The WLA needs volunteers with kayaks to assist in a goose roundup. Volunteers will meet at the beach Friday, June 29th at 8:30 am and will assist by directing geese from the lake into holding pens at the beach. Please contact Bruce Mendenhall to sign up or for more info.

MDEQ permitted nest destruction activities will be taking place from now until May 20th.
