EVENTS

The WLA sponsors several social events throughout the year for fun and to promote a sense of community.

These include the following WLA traditions:

• Fourth of July Celebration – Each year the WLA Social Committee organizes a series of events in celebration of our Independence Day.  These events include a flag raising ceremony, relay races, parade, games and the famous Cookout and Potluck Party at the Winans Lake Beach.
• Christmas Caroling Social – Each year during the Christmas Holiday season, a group of WLA members help  to get everyone in the holiday spirit by Caroling house-to-house in the neighborhood.
• Easter Egg Hunt – Each year during the Easter Holiday season, the WLA social committee organizes an annual Easter Egg Hunt for the kids.  After the great egg hunt everyone enjoys cake, cider, coffee and bonfire.
